About the Rhinoplasty Procedure

After the Procedure
In most cases, Dr. Katz will complete the rhinoplasty procedure within an hour and a half. The nose surgery procedure is performed on an outpatient basis with IV Sedation. Following surgery, Dr. Katz will provide splints and supportive devices for the nose that should remain in place as long as directed. These splints help patients achieve the best results possible and keep the nasal structures in place during the crucial recovery period.
Dr. Katz’s Dallas rhinoplasty patients may experience bruising and swelling for up to a week. Once the swelling begins to subside, patients are then permitted to return to work and other regular activities.
